Tour of Flanders

On Saturday we went for a guided tour of the area with the owner of the B&B we are staying at. The first stop was Hill 60 which was the site where the Australian Tunnelers dug under the German Tunnelers during WW1 and let off a massive explosion. There is a memorial here that remained standing during WW2 but you can see some of the damage from stray bullets. Generally all war memorials were left untouched.
