Walking Around Canberra

I am heading off on a guided walk with friends in a few weeks so we have been out and about doing some walking to get ready for our adventure. It has been fun discovering new places to walk not far from home.

Recently did a walk along the Cooleman Ridge at the back of Chapman, such lovely views across to the Brindabellas. The countryside is looking so green and lush and dams and ponds are full.

Another walk was around the ponds at Jerrabomberra Wetlands. I have ridden through the wetlands but until now hadn't ventured on foot- it was a lovely spot and lots of birds.

Another walk was along Farrer Ridge and the back of Fadden, again another lovely spot to walk.

Out and About in Canberra

We have had plenty of rain these last few months, this was a rainbow the other morning as we headed out to walk the dogs.

Floriade was cancelled this year due to COVID but they moved the flowers out to the suburbs, these were some at our local shops.

I planted some Flanders poppies back in April, they are just starting to flower!

Came home from a walk and this was Bill having a little rest on the table - as you do!
