We took a train ride to Melk about a one hour trip, we went up to the Melk Abbey which overlooks the town of Melk. It was a stunning building with the most amazing library, a beautiful church, lovely gardens and lots of beautiful views. We wandered through the town, had some lunch then headed down to the river for the cruise on the Danube to Durnstein,
