Navigated our way around the city today on the metro system or U Bahn as it is known here. First we visited Karlskirche- a lovely church with stunning frescoes and a lift you could catch that took you up towards the ceiling. Then we headed over to the Embassy and met my brother Simon and made our way to the United Nations.
We got to visit a United Nations Women's Guild meeting, do a tour then head back into the city where we had lunch at the Cafe Schwazenberg, where we had a divine hot chocolate. A spot of shopping, a visit to Stepansdon and a couple more churches along the way before heading back to base.
