Saint Ives

Today I drove across to a popular seaside village called Saint Ives. parking is very scarce in all these towns so you have to pay to park on the outskirts and then walk in. It was a pretty town, lots of shops and narrow streets and a harbour to walk along. It was a good thing I had a cooked breakfast as I was full and not tempted by the yummy cake shops and fudge shops!

The view as you walked down into the town.

The bathing boxes at one of the beaches either side of the town.

View of the town from one of the high points.

The tide was out! I picked up some supplies for a picnic lunch from the local farmers market that was on and headed off again.
