Cockatoos and Sunflowers

I like to plant sunflowers in the garden each year, they are easy to grow and the birds just love them, so there are always birds coming to visit as the sunflowers ripen. Here they are a few weeks ago just as they are in full bloom.

There are not to many sunflowers remaining, yesterday a sulphur crested cockatoo dropped by and I managed to sneak out and get a few photos.

I love the way they balance and hang upside down- it was there for ages and didn't seem to phased by me taking photos, as long as I didn't get too close!
