More Lockdown Walks

Have enjoyed discovering new walks and rediscovering previous walks I haven't done for a while. With all the rain Canberra is just so green it is lovely. We could be in England- even the sheep are sitting down and having a rest-they don't have to spend the whole day looking for food!

Have been walking along  the Murrumbidgee in various points. Here it was along Smith's Creek, with lovely views along the river and out to Mt Tennant which we often ride over. With all the rain the Murrumbidgee is looking very healthy.

Another walk I have been doing is up from Pine Island up to and along the old dry stone wall. I had done some of this a few years back, was lovely to revisit and see it so green and with lots of kangaroos and their joeys.

Another new walk was up through the Tuggeranong Pine Forest walking along the railway line that used to run between Queanbeyan and Cooma and is  the border boundary between ACT and NSW.
