Around the Garden

Have been finishing off work in the garden and just enjoying walking around most days and checking how all my plants are doing. With all the rain and warmer weather things are growing, including the weeds, but just loving the colour.

Here we are growing a little Jack! Pity we couldn't grow him some new legs, he manages to shuffle around the place, he often used to hope up on the pot plants as the soil was nice and warm when it had been in the sun.

Here is Amy doing some rock sorting- she wants the rock sizes in a particular way! Good mindfulness practice.

Amy feeding some of our friendly cockatoos. This is probably Colin, or possibly Bruce.

I planted some more Flanders poppies this year  and now they are flowering abundantly- just love these.

This was the first poppy of the season

The old veggie patch is now the Berry Patch. I have planted 3 blueberries in pots that are supposed to do well in Canberra. I have tried a number of times, this is my last attempt and this time in pots as a few friends have had more luck with growing them in pots. I have a Denise, Blue Rose and Brigatta.
