It has been raining in Canberra this weekend - 100mm since Friday night- I can't remember when we have had such a wonderful rain - evidently it has been about 8 years. So we have had water in our rain gauge, puddles in the garden - a rare sight these days and the plants have just responded so well. My fruit trees are sporting extra green leaves, plants are flowering and I am sure I can see the grass grow as I watch it. It has been wonderful. I don't even mind the fact that I could not go for a ride on Saturday Morning!
