BYU Conference

Who would have thought I would have been able to sit through 2 days of talks and presentations. I had originally thought I might do a session or two each day and then do something else- I attended every session ( apart from the concert on the Thursday night, we decided to just chill!)

Lovely views as you walk around campus and the weather has been lovely.

Snow capped mountains surround us

Lovely grounds to walk through, I certainly did lots of steps each day going to the various locations where the presentations were held, so I got to move around a bit.

The famous BYU mint brownies, had to try one while I was here, Bindi and I shared this one, it was pretty good.

On the Thursday night we did one of the service projects, it didn't take long, you walked down the line and filled up your plastic bag with various items for the hygiene packs

The conference finished Friday afternoon, we went back to our room and sorted our suitcases, we were  getting ready for Part 2 of our trip to Philadelphia and the Amish area in Lancaster County. We were only taking travel on luggage so we needed to drop of our large suitcases to Jamie and Donavan, Bindi's friends, who were going to look after our large suitcases for us.

On the way up to met them Bindi pulled into the Provo City Temple and I had a chance to have a look and take some photos. A beautiful temple and lovely to see families sitting around on the lawn, enjoying the lovely setting.

We met Jamie and Donavan for dinner at Jurassic Tacos, handed over our suitcases and then headed back to BYU where we stayed the night, ready for our early start the next morning to fly to Philadelphia.
