June and July Catch Up

 Have been out and about a bit doing a few walks and also got myself a mountain bike so I am riding a few trails- just fire trails and relatively flat walking trails, have been enjoying that.

Did the Isaacs Ridge walk with the Scotts

A few weeks back, took a few friends up to the CAS Dome at Mt Stromlo and Bill gave us a private viewing night. The photo above was taken about 9pm at night, it was dark- you can see the stars in the sky.

Bill and the telescope inside the dome. It was a real novelty for all of us, having the dome rotate and the roof open up so you could view the night sky.

Little miss Nora is growing up fast! 

We caught up with Jos and Steve ( Bill's cousin) who were visiting from the Central Coast, so we had Lachlan, Abby and Nora over so they could meet Nora who is now 4 1/2 months old

Amy got herself a drum carder, which she uses to blend her different fibres together

She then creates a batt which at some point she will then spin and crochet something.

This is her latest project- a beautiful shawl

She then takes over the kitchen table to block it!

Bill's campervan has been here for over a year but as such has not been out on the road as yet. Progress- he put it up to see if it was still working! At this rate it might get out on the road for his 80th birthday- unless I sell it to someone in the meantime!
