Le Tommy
Le Tommy is a cafe and museum in Poziers where we are staying and Dominique is the owner and he is very passionate about the history of the area and especially in regards to all the Australians as so many were killed in Poziers. We went into the museum and introduced ourselves and when I said I had a great uncle who was still missing out in the fields of Poziers he was so kind to us. He took us around to a list of all the Australians missing in Poziers and put a dot next to my great uncle's name to indicate that a family member had been to visit. He let us into his museum and also printed of a map to show the area that his company launched their attack from. Whenever they dig trenches to lay water pipes or something he always goes out and checks the trenches and in the past has found the remains of soldiers, so who knows one day my great uncle will turn up.
