Thiepval

On Sunday morning we headed across to the Thiepval Memorial. Had an excellent visitors centre and red poppies everywhere from Wills and Kate opened the new museum. It was the local marathon so there were runners everywhere we just had to drive slowly through them, OH&S is totally different in Europe!

There was a little bit of drizzle only day so far, we attended a short ceremony that was happening every day at midday throughout the Battle of the Somme
