Following in Eric's Footsteps

We set out for Peronne to visit several places Bill's grandfather Eric had been.

 This was the photo that Eric had taken back in September 1918 and below is the one Bill took in September 2016.

This had been partially destroyed and rebuilt.

Bill then lead me into a forest looking for some trenches turns out it was the wrong forest all we managed to find were the stinging nettles!
