Villers Bretonneux and Adelaide Cemetery
Today we headed over to Villers Bretonneux to the Australian Memorial. I am always so impressed with the care and respect that goes into all these places wether they are a small little cemetery on a little country road or these large monuments, they are all so peaceful. We have been blessed with good weather so the views from here were commanding, you can see why both sides were keen to hold positions on the ridges. You cannot helped but be moved as you wander through the cemetery and think of all the lives that were sacrificed. They are building the John Monash Interpreative Centre here to be opened in 2018 so lots of construction going on.
