Amy and I headed down to Bendigo for the Australian Wool and Sheep Show 2026. We headed off with our first night in Corowa going via some of our favourite food stops- Long Track Pantry at Jugiong and Parker Pies at Rutherglen. Amy's friend Ada, from Canberra, met us at Corowa, she was coming the the Wool Show with us as well.
The next morning we drove the rest of the way to Bendigo following part of the North East Victorian Silo Art Trail which took us through a number of tiny Victorian country towns. It was a great day for travelling with bright blue skies and green country side. We stopped of at the SPC Ardmona outlet store and came away with quite a few goodies- not baked beans or tinned fruit!
The smoked lamb on Turkish bread is our standard fare!
My morning walk in Corowa was rather foggy, I did manage to get a shot of the post office though
Then onto St James- which was CJ Coles began his first business, which later morphed into the Coles we know today.
Then it was onto Devenish, which had silo art dedicated to our Australian Service Men and Women
