Went to Floriade this year for the first time in a few years. Felt like a tourist in my own town- Kerrie and I drove to Watson where Deb was housesitting for her dad, we parked there then walked down to the light rail and caught the light rail into the city then walked to Floriade. Floriade was great- being a Tuesday it wasn't too busy. The flowers were great, we then walked back into the city and had an ice-cream lunch at Anita Gelato, then caught the light rail back to Watson.
First time on the Light Rail- have to admit I must be getting old- we got on the tram and some young people got up and offered us a seat- couldn't say no!
