Eagles Flying and Walking Around Benbulben

It was a cold and frosty start to the day but just like Canberra it meant a lovely clear sunny day, if not a little chilly. Today we headed down to Eagles Flying- a family run sanctuary for birds of prey. On the way down we called in at Drumcliff where Willam Yeats was buried.

Some of the birds of prey we saw

Ashling the owl

One of the eagles coming into land on my sister in law's arm- I was most impressed that Bindi didn't freak out- she was very brave!

A very cute Barn Owl

An eagle- I think this one was a Yellow Eagle

Bill and I did a walk along the side of Benbulben- very spectacular
