Summit Gardens

Our destination on Thursday was the Summit Gardens about 15 minutes out of town up the top of the escarpment overlooking Mele Bay so we had lovely views and there were so many wonderful flowers and plants, it was quite stunning. It was quite an adventure getting there, the local driver we hailed down hadn't been there before and didn't realize how far it was and he ran out of petrol when we were almost up the top, but we were stuck on a really steep slope. Mum and I ended up walking the rest of the way fortunately it was not too far, however every time I hear mum resell the story it gets bigger and bigger!

We had a tour of the garden and saw some wonderful flowers and plants and got some stunning views out over Mele Bay. We were able to catch the Summit Gardens back down to Pt Vila this time without any drama!
