It is lovely watching the different flowers coming out in my garden, Enjoy walking around and checking out what is happening and clearing out some of those weeds. The side/front gate and fence has been put in, which means the dogs can wander throughout the back yard and warn us whenever anyone comes up the front drive. The last job to finish off all the work that began with the building of the granny flat.
This is my first dahlia, looks like a few more are on the way.
Not sure what this yellow plants is but it is flowering beautifully. I planted it last year and it died off over winter then just came back this summer with lots of flowers.
I keep dividing and replanting these rain lilies and I love the creamy flower they have and they make great edging.
I planted three lots of sunflowers seeds before I could get them to germinate.
My Lady O Grevilla is flowering and it is such a pretty grevilia.
I have never had much luck with Kangaroo Paws and don't have many full sun spots left in my garden. I picked up this smaller kangaroo paw at Bunnings recently, says they are more drought and frost hardy. I figured if I planted it in a pot and moved it in winter I might have more luck. It has a little flower beginning to emerge.
Amy had a whole lot of flower seeds so we made up a mix and scattered them in the garden bed and we have some flowers- who knows what they are but it is lovely to see some results.
