And Then There Were Three

Lachlan has a new address! With some help from the mum and dad bank Lachlan has been able to move into his own home.He has been saving hard for a long time. Settlement was on Friday and he is now a resident in a lovely little cul de sac in Bank. We helped him move in over the weekend- still plenty of stuff from home to take over. I am sure he will just love the peace and quiet and a bird free zone inside the house. It is a three bedroom, one bathroom and perhaps most importantly a double garage! I wonder if he will let me come for a sleepover,

August and September Catch Up

 August and September Happenings

Amy and Beau hanging out together, he always wants to know what is going on.

Did a day trip out to Crookwell with some friends, found this cool little metal snail sculpture and added a shell I had to make him look rather authentic I think,

Any time Amy has overnight oats for breakfast Beau and Lyra always want to share- breakfast with the birds for sure.

Jack and I out for a stroll with the pram- he howls if we leave him behind.

I am having fun with my fairy garden

Did a day trip to Cooma and had a lovely time exploring with my friends, it was a beautiful spring day and a lovely day for a drive. Had lunch with a friend who is setting up a bed and breakfast- the lunch she cooked was just lovely.

There has been much activity in the laneway behind our house in the last two weeks, looks like it will be going on for another 4 weeks. ICON Water is making improvments to the storm water drains.

They have taken down our fence and relocated it off site ( they will replace it and some point) and have put in temporary fencing. We usually have a digger or excavtor parked out there at night, it is a pity we don't have any little kids around to watch them at work. Lachlan used to sleep with his plastic digger as a little kid!

Our house from the back

I recently spent 5 nights out at Murrumbateman housesitting for a friend, I had Teddy the Jack Russell for compnay, and chooks and horses to feed. I had a lovley quiet time and really needed time to just chill out and do not much for a bit and just worry about me.

I had instrucions of how to feed the horses each day- breakfast in the morning and dinner at night and managed to cope with that.

I enjoyed sitting by the fire each night and reading or watching the Tour De France

My friend loves horses and Amy brought this little black horse for her which we left on the window sill she spotted it straight away on arriving home.

On the way home a friend and I did the One Tree Hill walk at Hall- great day for a walk and a lovely walk to boot as well.
