Bill and ANZAC Day

Here is Bill all dressed up to go in the ANZAC Day March
He is dressed as a World War One Soldier and is representing a doctor who served in WW1
The uniform is a replica of what the soldiers war. He has recently become involved in a group called the Great War Association and there were about 10 of them at the front of the ANZAC Day March- so he would have marched passed Will and Kate.

Hob Nail Boots and Putties is what the World War 1 soldiers wore

The bottom of the boots looked like they were covered in drawing pins, he had to walk very carefully on our slate floors as he thought he might slip.

Good Friday Easter Picnic at Lennox Garden

Someone's haul in the bag of the truck!

It was a great day as usual, loving having family and friends together. There was fog to start with but it soon lifted and turned into a lovely day,

Catching Up With Bindi, Mia and Charlie

It was General Conference Broadcast for Church today  so I went over to Bindi's to watch it with her and the kids, Simon is away in the Solomon Islands. We watched the broadcast and enjoyed some of Bindi's yummy cinnamon rolls that she made. Bindi had the place all decorated up for Easter- it looked lovely.

Team Rynkeby

In less than 11 weeks I head to Copenhagen for our bike ride from Denmark to Paris. We are fundraising for the Kids for Cancer Project here in Australia. Our cycling gear arrived this week, all very exciting, except when you put it on you feel like a bumble bee! However it does look really good on the road and stands out which is what you want. Some of our team did a ride on Saturday morning, it was cold and windy but it was good to get on the bike after another few days of rain.

Hydrangea Flowers!

I have a flower on my hydrangea that I brought back from mum's when she sold her house last year! Most excited about the flower!

Lachlan the Mechanic

Lachlan is busy this weekend working on his car- some addition to it to make it go faster, burn more fuel, sound noisier- but it keeps  him happy. He just came in to put on the lamb roast he is cooking for dinner- so not much to complain about!
